Right now I have a question for you. What should I use with a flat iron to protect my hair against the heat? I used to use sillicone but I found that my hair was damaged and even breaking. What should I do?

Using a comb attachment to the blow dryer is a must, says Shorter. Blow-drying wet hair takes a lot of pulling with a brush, and that can end up breaking the hair.
