Straighten those waves.

I am a coloured girl from Cape Town, South-Africa and have started this blog because I know there are girls that struggle to find products or even information to treat their combination hair types. I do relax my hair but let me tell you after a while I have to relax again. Well I am here to share with you what products are good for you and what are harmfull so let me know where I can assist.

Right now I have a question for you. What should I use with a flat iron to protect my hair against the heat? I used to use sillicone but I found that my hair was damaged and even breaking. What should I do?

  1. Using a comb attachment to the blow dryer is a must, says Shorter. Blow-drying wet hair takes a lot of pulling with a brush, and that can end up breaking the hair. Since African-American hair is much more fragile, Branch recommends letting the hair air-dry or sitting under a dryer for a short period before blow-drying to minimize on tugging time. http://www.adelaideinternetmarketing.com.au
